Following up on the success of the previous Oxford Mental Health Economics & Policy (OMHEP) workshops, we are delighted to invite you to the workshop titled “Strategic commissioning of mental health services in England: perspectives from local stakeholders” from 13:00 to 16.30 on Friday 30th May at the Abraham Lecture Theatre in Green Templeton College, Oxford.
This workshop will bring together commissioners, local government, policy makers, charities, clinicians, and academics to share their views and discuss about how to move towards strategic commissioning in mental health at local level. The workshop is convened by Assoc. Prof. Apostolos Tsiachristas and Prof. Belinda Lennox and is supported by Oxford’s Department of Psychiatry, Green Templeton College, and the local NIHR-Applied Research Collaboration. It will include short-presentations from key speakers followed by panel discussions. Attendance and participation in the discussion is also open to academics, NHS workers, charity workers, patients and public, and students.
