A two-week publishing freeze is expected to start before the end of Hilary Term to allow all future events to be migrated to the new platform. To commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day 2024, we would like to invite everyone to a discussion on this year’s theme, the fragility of freedom. Join us as we explore testimonies from different conflicts of the 20th and 21st centuries, exploring commonalities related to freedom, oppression, and other experiences of persecution. Readings will be circulated to the mailing list a week before the meeting. Please contact the convenors to be added to the list.
This reading group is a place for students and researchers to discuss our research within a supportive community. The group will meet four times a term to discuss issues around our research, some of the main Holocaust historiographical issues, and the latest research and publications in the field.
