A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

Researchers in the field of ageing are invited to join an open virtual meeting about the MRC Centre of Research Excellence (CoRE) (www.ukri.org/opportunity/mrc-centre-of-research-excellence-round-two) round 2 theme of ‘Enhancing Healthspan’. The University can put in a single CoRE bid for up to £21m over seven years for ageing research that will achieve a step change in increasing healthy life expectancy.
The meeting is open to all colleagues working in this area to receive information on the upcoming MRC CoREs call and meet other researchers. The meeting will be chaired by Associate Head of MSD (Research) Prof Heidi Johansen-Berg and MSD Head of Research Strategy & Funding Leila Whitworth.
