A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. A highly drug resistant falciparum malaria parasite lineage from western Cambodia, which the press have dubbed a “malaria superbug” has spread to Thailand, Laos and now southern Vietnam. This is a serious threat to malaria control and eradication efforts. In the light of these recent developments, Professor Sir Nick White will talk about Antimalarial Drug Resistance. Lunch will be provided.
