A two-week publishing freeze is expected to start before the end of Hilary Term to allow all future events to be migrated to the new platform. Professor Irene Miguel-Aliaga FRS FMedSci (Crick Institute, London) will be giving the Jenkinson Lecture entitled: ‘Organ Origami: the Sex and Geometry of Inter-organ Communication’. All welcome. Using Drosophila, mouse and human, Irene Miguel-Aliaga studies how the gut communicates with the brain and other organs. She has been awarded the Suffrage Science Women in Science award and the Mary Lyon Medal, and was elected FRS in 2022.
