OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
This presentation explores the dynamic post-pandemic terrain of clinical translation in
biodegradable and bioactive materials research at the Korea Institute of Science and
Technology (KIST). By addressing challenges and seizing opportunities in this evolving field,
KIST aims to lead innovations crucial for shaping the future of healthcare.
In the wake of the pandemic, the significance of biodegradable and bioactive materials has
been magnified, given their critical role in areas such as tissue engineering, regenerative
medicine, and implantable medical devices. At KIST, researchers have been at the forefront,
leveraging innovative methodologies to engineer materials poised to meet the evolving
demands of healthcare.
