Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Once Oxford Events launches, you will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
Join us for our latest webinar in the Oxford Political Thought Series on the topic of Revolution.
Professor Roxanne Euben (University of Pennsylvania) will speak on ‘Revolutionary Rhetorics in Practice: Humiliation and Dignity in the Egyptian Uprising’ and Professor Walter Armbrust (St Antony’s College, University of Oxford) will speak on ‘For the Sake of the Martyrs: Ecumenical Strategies of Mobilization in the January 25th Revolution’.
We are grateful to our guest speakers for giving us permission to record the live webinars – our Programme Manager edits the recordings and the edited production becomes a podcast episode in our podcast series.
