On Friday 19 May, Dr Gladys will share her experiences working in wildlife conservation and public health. She is co-founder of Conservation Through Public Health, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the coexistence of endangered mountain gorillas, other wildlife, humans, and livestock in Africa. Star of the BBC documentary, Gladys the African Vet, Dr Gladys has been awarded numerous accolades, including the Edinburgh Medal in 2022, and has been appointed a ‘champion of the Earth’ by the United Nations.
After the talk, Dr Gladys will be available to sign copies of her new book, Walking with Gorillas, a captivating memoir which documents her life and work in gorilla conservation.
