On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Film Screening followed by Q&A with the director Anthony Geffen chaired by Professor Helena Hamerow, Professor of Early Medieval Archaeology and St Cross Fellow.
Dubai and Abu Dhabi are famous around the world for oil, pearls and gleaming modern cities – but behind the fast cars and the skyscrapers, lies a compelling and untold story of a rich 125,000-year history.
With unprecedented access, told through the voices of its people and using the latest archaeological discoveries and Lidar scans, buildings and cities not seen for hundreds of years are brought back to life in breath-taking CGI. Discovering the many other ingenious ways in which people here – for thousands of years – have been overcoming the challenges of life in one of the world’s harshest environments.
