OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
The NHS Long Term Plan seeks to facilitate the development of shared data environments which can facilitate the interoperable exchange of clinical and patient-generated data. Women’s Health is a pioneer of these environments and it is anticipated they will be the cornerstone of future health, healthcare improvement, and research delivery. Dr Duffy will be discussing how shared data environments can be co-produced and how they can be utilised within clinical, healthcare improvement, and research environments.
Dr Duffy is an obstetrician and gynaecologist and his clinical interests include endometriosis, reproductive medicine, and gynaecological surgery. He cares passionately about value-based medicine and is an advocate for the better understanding and use of evidence in women’s health. He has worked to further this agenda across diverse national and international organisations including the Cochrane Collaboration, NHS England and Improvement, and the World Health Organization.
