OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Gathering of Gatherings: Where the Local and the Catholic Meet.
Dr. Derek Hatch is Professor of Religion and Endowed Chair of Baptist Studies at Georgetown College in Kentucky. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Behavioral Science from East Texas Baptist University, a Master of Divinity degree from George W. Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in theology from the University of Dayton. He has written numerous articles and authored or co-edited three books, including Thinking with the Church: Toward a Renewal of Baptist Theology (2017). He currently serves as a member of the Baptist World Alliance’s Commission on Baptist Doctrine and Christian Unity and was a delegate to the most recent international ecumenical dialogue commission between the Baptist World Alliance and the Roman Catholic Church.
