Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
We are setting a third meeting on discussing participatory methodologies (see the registration below). Anyone is welcome to join!
For this meeting we will engage with the work by Prof. Ayona Datta: a video clip: ayonadatta.com/2019/01/07/khadar-ki-ladkiyan-music-video and the article “The “Smart Safe City”: Gendered Time, Speed, and Violence in the Margins of India’s Urban Age”, where the author discusses her methodology in-depth in exploration of the topic.
In the second part of the meeting one of our members will present his plans for fieldwork in Ethiopia.
