On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

This one day course led by Professor Sue Ziebland and Professor Catherine Pope is for anyone who is writing or plans to write a grant application for a qualitative study. During a lively and interactive workshop, Prof Ziebland will explain how to use a tried and tested charting method for helping to structure your proposal.
Course Description
Professor Sue Ziebland will be joined by Professor Catherine Pope as a co-tutor. Between them they have experience of writing scores of research grants for NIHR, research councils and charities, puzzling over hundreds of reviewers’ feedback, celebrating successes, and coping with rejection.
They have also served on a range of national and international grant funding committees as panel members and chairs, as well as spending many years teaching and writing about research methods. Professor Sue Ziebland also brings her experience as an NIHR Programme Director for Research for Patient benefit (which involves observing around 14 funding committee meetings a year) to this course.
