On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Professor Sir John Hardy is the Chair of Molecular Biology of Neurological Disease at the UCL Institute of Neurology with over 23,000 citations. In recognition of his exceptional contributions to science, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 2009. In 2022 he was awarded a Knighthood in New Year’s honours in recognition of contributions to human health and dementia research. His research interests are in the genetic analysis of disease; historically, working on the genetic analysis of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias and, more recently, on Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders and, most recently on motor neuron disease.
