BBSRC Chief Executive Professor Melanie Welham warmly invites all colleagues interested in the BBSRC’s current and future directions and funding to attend an Open Forum.
These are “interesting times” in light of the EU Referendum Result, as legislation to create a new structure for the research councils, HEFCE and Innovate UK moves through Parliament, and as new funding streams are announced in the Autumn Statement. Professor Welham will speak on key issues and then invite discussion and Q&A.
Professor Welham will be joined by BBSRC Executive Director, Corporate Policy and Strategy, Dr Paul Burrows; Interim Executive Director, Innovation and Skills, Dr Karen Lewis, and Strategy Senior Programme Manager, Corporate Policy and Strategy, Laura Notton.
