Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. BBC Quiz Show ‘The 3rd Degree’ is coming to Mansfield College and you’re invited!
On Monday 9th March, three brave Mansfield students will be taking on their professors in a battle of the wits, as they go head to head on ‘The 3rd Degree’. The rounds vary from General Knowledge, to a Subject-Specific face-off, to a ‘Highbrow / Lowbrow’ round, where students can challenge their professors on popular culture. The questions range from Barthes to Beyoncé and no two shows are the same.
Come along and cheer on the teams – tickets are free, and we promise to have the heating on.
Doors open at 5:40pm ready for the recording to begin at 6pm in the Sir Joseph Hotung Auditorium.
