Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Emily Berry has been described as ‘one of an increasingly distinct generation of poets to emerge in the UK since the early 2000’s’, her poetry recognised for its ‘vividness, peculiarity and precision’ (Poetry Archive) as well as emotional sophistication. Winner of the Forward Prize, Hawthornden Prize and Eric Gregory Award, she has authored two books of poetry – Dear Boy and Stranger, Baby. She is currently also the editor of The Poetry Review, the UK’s most widely read poetry magazine, and a fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
