On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

SQUIRE stands for Standards for QUality Improvement Reporting Excellence. The SQUIRE reporting guidelines provide a framework for writing about healthcare improvement research. They are intended to guide the writing of papers about system level work to improve quality, safety, and value.
The talk will describe how the SQUIRE team has significantly improved guidance on three key components
The use of theory in planning, implementing, and evaluating quality improvement work
The description of the context of the research
The study of the intervention(s).
It will include examples from the literature demonstrating how these components work together in a completed manuscript.
Entry is free, but please book via Eventbrite bit.ly/2jThNMd
