Are you interested in Translational funding and potentially commercialising your research?
Oxford Science Enterprises (OSE) was founded in 2015 to help bring Oxford’s best ideas to the world by creating transformational businesses via a unique partnership with the University of Oxford. Together with the University OSE has worked with Academic Founders to create a phenomenal science-business ecosystem whereby investment in university spinouts has increased to £1.4bn in 2021, attracting an impressive influx of scientific and management talent from around the world.
Many of our companies have gone on to address many life threatening and life limiting diseases in Immunology, Oncology and Infection and the Life Science team at OSE would love to see if there are projects that could benefit from translational funding ahead of the commercialising the research. In the Session we plan to talk a little about some of the ways we can work to help support translational efforts and company creation including a variety of funding models and initiatives that we think could be of interest to researchers at the Institute.
