OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Join us for a very special event, as Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky makes a live virtual address to students at the University of Oxford.
Oxford University Ukrainian Society, in collaboration with the Oxford Union, and with the support of the Oxford University International Relations Society, will join eight universities across the UK in hosting a live address from Ukraine’s wartime leader. Following President Zelensky’s address, he will answer questions from the Ukrainian Societies of the respective universities. This simultaneous live address has been jointly organised by Ukrainian Societies of universities across the UK as part of the new initiative the Ukrainian Student Union, with support of the Ukrainian Embassy in London.
The event will be held in English, with the support of a translator, and will last about an hour. The event is open to everyone, but please register for the event.
