OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

The 4th Annual Oxford Technology Showcase focuses on the Big Healthcare Challenges in chronic disease. The increase in our life expectancy means that more of us have to deal with lifelong health conditions that can debilitate and incur cost. The 2016 Isis Innovation, Oxford AHSN and BRC Technology Showcase, will highlight the most exciting commercial and innovative opportunities and projects in this field. Oxford University, the Oxford Academic Health Science Network and the NIHR Oxford Biomedical Research Centre will co-host and partner for the event. We are also pleased to receive industrial sponsorship from Triteq Ltd.
The event theme is chronic disease and four areas will be covered including:
Diabetes and obesity
Cognitive health (neurodegenerative)
Cardiovascular and stroke
Ageing and frailty
