On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.
If you have any questions, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Join us for a panel discussion with speakers from funding institutions answering your questions. The event will seek to answer such questions as:
· What one call or project would the funder want researchers to know about (if they don’t already)
· What are funders looking for in the supporting documentation/statement of support? How do you make sure your supporting documentation is strong?
· What level of risk are funders willing to accept? What is the balance to strike between ambitious, “big picture” ideas and more straightforward, “safe” ideas? How much room is there for discovering things along the way?
You’ll be able to submit your questions on the day.
Lunch served 12:00-12:30 (ticket required)
