OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Dr. Edward Jenkins is currently a Sir Henry Wellcome Postdoctoral Fellow based in the lab of Michael Dustin at the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology. He obtained his DPhil with Simon Davis and Christian Eggeling (WIMM, Oxford), focused on understanding how T cells discriminate between antigens. His research now focuses on antigen search and detection strategies by T cells, which combines studying T-cell migration, surface receptor signalling, and actin based sensory protrusions on the surface of lymphocytes. He does this by combining light-sheet microscopy, computer vision analyses and proteomics
