Dr. Edward Jenkins is currently a Sir Henry Wellcome Postdoctoral Fellow based in the lab of Michael Dustin at the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology. He obtained his DPhil with Simon Davis and Christian Eggeling (WIMM, Oxford), focused on understanding how T cells discriminate between antigens. His research now focuses on antigen search and detection strategies by T cells, which combines studying T-cell migration, surface receptor signalling, and actin based sensory protrusions on the surface of lymphocytes.
