Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Catherine Conisbee (University of Oxford) introduces the ‘Their Finest Hour Online Archive’, a crowdsourced collection of Second World War stories and objects, and shares findings from two recent research projects which explored how AI and other digital tools can enhance search and discovery, while preserving the voices present in this collection.
