On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Organised by Migration Oxford and co-sponsored by the University of Oxford’s Social Sciences Division & Public and Community Engagement with Research, this event brings together migration scholars from across the University to explore and critically reflect on the key opportunities and challenges of deploying methodologies to enhance migrants and refugees’ participation and leadership in migration research. The event includes representatives from the University of Oxford’s Social Sciences Division and the Public and Community Engagement with Research team who will discuss the institutional support available to migration researchers engaging with these participatory methods. Ultimately, this event aims to foster learning and dialogue about the multiplicity of ways in which we can move beyond extractive approaches in migration and displacement research and encourage partnerships among migration scholars interested in participatory research.
