Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
This in-person short talk, organised by the Cloud Computing for Research Competency Centre, intends to provide an overview of what Microsoft Azure is and how it can be used as a research tool. Whether you have never used a cloud service before or have some experience but aren’t sure how it could accelerate your research, this session is suitable for you. We will run through a variety of Azure components with a research-centric lens and outline the process for accessing the service through the university and the benefits of doing so.
