Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. In this day-long workshop you will learn the skills to handle some of the Bodleian’s special collections and to read seventeenth- and eighteenth-century handwriting. No experience in history or historical texts is needed – we’ll teach you all you need to handle, read and transcribe these fascinating letters.
Registration is required. Open to University of Oxford students only.
Level – open to complete beginners and students from any subject, undergraduate or graduate.
