OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
For our last event of the term, we are delighted to bring you a panel discussion on the important theme of ‘Global Campylobacter’, which will be held on Tuesday 12th of July at 2pm BST.
We are thrilled to have Prof Samuel Sheppard from the Milner Centre for Evolution, University of Bath, and Dr Paritosh Kumar Biswas from the Department of Microbiology and Veterinary Public Health, Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, join us as part of this panel. Each will bring insight into the Campylobacter situation in their regions (the UK and South Asia respectively), including strain dynamics and antibiotic resistance levels. Following their presentations, we will host a Q&A session and discussion, followed by questions from the floor.
