OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Join us for the launch of our Spring 22 issue at the Jam Factory on Thursday March 3, 7:30pm-10pm.
Be the first to view the latest issue, purchase a copy and meet writers and editors from the team behind Oxford’s leading cultural review.
We will have several special guests throughout the evening, and will be announcing them over the coming days.
The issue includes reviews of latest releases by Lea Ypi and Hanya Yanagihara, interviews with Helen Thompson, Cal Flyn and Rachel Kuang, and essays on the politics of the Yiddish language and French working-class literature (among countless other great essays!).
Our new tote bags, made of ethically-sourced fabric will also be on sale at the event.
