OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

Kisspeptin in the human male brain This talk will focus on a series of fMRI studies that aimed to explore the effects of the reproductive hormone kisspeptin on the human male brain and behaviour. Although we know that kisspeptin is expressed in the hypothalamus, its role in other brain regions and specifically in the limbic system as well as its interaction with behaviour had not been explored until recently. In this talk we’ll disentangle what we have learned in the last 5 years about the effect of kisspeptin on sexual and emotional processing of visual stimuli, appetite, olfactory cues and resting state using imaging techniques
