On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Join us for a timely conversation with Dr Gireesh Shrimali, Head of Transition Finance Research at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, University of Oxford.
Dr Shrimali will present the India Transition Finance Programme, a groundbreaking initiative exploring how emerging economies like India can access the capital needed to meet net zero goals. As global momentum builds around sustainable finance and climate-aligned development, India’s experience offers critical lessons for scholars and policymakers navigating the complexities of just transitions in high-growth, carbon-intensive economies.
This event is especially relevant for those working at the intersection of climate finance, global development, and sustainability transitions. It will provide insights into how national pathways can align with international climate commitments through innovative financial frameworks.
