Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Dr Michael Henderson is a neuroscientist whose focus is on the impact of protein pathologies and genetic risk factors on the development and progression of neurodegenerative diseases. He earned his B.Sc. in biological science from Florida State University, followed by his Ph.D. in neuroscience from Yale University. He conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Pennsylvania with Drs. Virginia Lee and John Trojanowski, and in 2020, joined Van Andel Institute’s Department for Neurodegenerative Science as an assistant professor.
