OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

This intensive workshop on producing effective CVs and Cover Letters is specifically for doctoral research students and research staff, whether they are considering an academic or non-academic career or are undecided.
Using a mix of individual and informal small group exercises, we will * understand and recognise the characteristics of effective CVs and cover letters * critique the strengths and weaknesses of their own and colleagues’ current CVs * evaluate example cover letters in order to build their knowledge of different types and styles they may use
