OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Frank Gardener is one of the UK’s most prominent journalists and has worked as the BBC’s Gulf correspondent, Middle East correspondent and currently works as the BBC’s full time Security Correspondent. He has published numerous books on his experience as a journalist, including Blood and Sand and Far Horizons, and played a vital role in the BBC’s reporting on the War on Terror in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks.
