OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
You are welcome to either join, or watch later, the webinar, ‘Climate Change, Business Transformation and Risk Management’, ahead of COP26.
It is jointly held by Saïd Business School and the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) and you will be able to see how to join on the Business Schools for Climate Change (BS4CL) website.
The webinar will be moderated by Saïd Business School’s former Dean Peter Tufano, with Anette Mikes, Associate Professor of Accounting, and speakers from IMD.
It is part of the ‘Countdown to COP26’ series organised by Business Schools for Climate Change (BS4CL), focusing on key topics at the centre of the 31 October-12 November conference.
Share your thoughts, views, and experiences around the webinar series on social media using #BS4Climate and #COP26 and link to the School on Twitter using @OxfordSBS and on Instagram by adding #LifeAtSBS.
Business Schools for Climate Leadership comprises Cambridge Judge Business School, HEC Paris, IE Business School, IESE Business School, the International Institute for Management Development, INSEAD, and London Business School.
It was formed after the Deans of the eight European business schools, including Peter Tufano, acknowledged the importance and urgency of the climate crisis and the need for business to act.
