OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
European Universities are transnational alliances promoting European values and identity, and revolutionising the quality and competitiveness of European higher education. There have been two rounds of the funding call. There are now a total of 41 European University alliances involving 279 higher education institutions from EU Member States and other countries participating in Erasmus+.
Oxford has joined NeurotechEu the first of these to be specifically targeted at Neuroscience. Cutting edge Neuroscience has great promise to deliver brain-centred or brain-inspired solutions that could benefit the society and kindle a new economy in Europe. The European University of Brain and Technology – NeurotechEU aims to be the backbone of this new vision.
Neurotech EU lead Professor Tansu Celikel, Radboud University, will explore: the background to the project, how it will benefit the partners and how Oxford can remain a partner in Europe despite the UK leaving the EU.
