Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Dr Fadil Hannan was appointed as a PI in the Nuffield Department of Women’s & Reproductive Health in February 2019. He is also an Honorary Consultant Chemical Pathologist at the John Radcliffe Hospital. Fadil’s research has previously focused on genetic disorders of mineral metabolism. He is now setting up the Oxford Centre for the Endocrinology of Human Lactation (OCEHL), the purpose of which is to characterise the endocrine control of lactation and define the endocrine mechanisms by which lactation promotes infant growth and development, and reduces the maternal risk of type 2 diabetes and breast cancer.
