A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. Dr Fadil Hannan was appointed as a PI in the Nuffield Department of Women’s & Reproductive Health in February 2019. He is also an Honorary Consultant Chemical Pathologist at the John Radcliffe Hospital. Fadil’s research has previously focused on genetic disorders of mineral metabolism. He is now setting up the Oxford Centre for the Endocrinology of Human Lactation (OCEHL), the purpose of which is to characterise the endocrine control of lactation and define the endocrine mechanisms by which lactation promotes infant growth and development, and reduces the maternal risk of type 2 diabetes and breast cancer.
