Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Treatment resistant psychosis is one of the most intractable problems in psychiatry and consumes a large proportion of the NHS Mental Health budget, but there has been very little progress in developing new treatments for this group. Professor MacCabe will discuss how this situation highlights the limitations of Evidence Based Medicine paradigm and will offer some suggestions as to how we might move forward.
