Somatic mutations in the brain: do they have a role in synucleinopathies? (in person talk)

Professor Christos Proukakis is a clinical academic neurologist, currently Professor of Neurology and Neurogenetics at UCL, researching the genetic basis of synucleinopathies. His main focus is the role of somatic mutations, especially structural variants, which he is addressing with a number of techniques including short and long read DNA sequencing at single cell and tissue level.
