OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

The University of Oxford will be hosting a visit from the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) on 16 November 2022. As part of the day, there will be an open presentation in the Large Lecture Theatre in the Biology Department (South Parks Road) where attendees will have the chance to ask questions and hear from Professor Welham, the Executive Chair of BBSRC.
The presentation will focus on BBSRC’s strategic direction and its future plans. As such, it will be of interest to prospective and current grant holders, grants teams and divisional and departmental staff.
The event will run from 10:30 – 11:30 in the large lecture theatre. Registration, tea and coffee will be available beforehand from 10:00.
