Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Once Oxford Events launches, you will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
For the final talk of the season in its PeopleGov Speaker Series, the People in Government Lab welcomes Beto Sicupira, Founder of Brava Foundation and Partner in 3G Capital, for a conversation with Ngaire Woods, Dean of the Blavatnik School of Government, about how the public and private sectors can learn from each other to improve people management.
The People in Government Lab believes in building connections between the public and private sector and learning from their experiences for the benefit of people management. In this talk, we have the opportunity to learn from Beto Sicupira, who is committed to the development of the two sectors and embodies their synergies, and will bring his life-long experience of best practices. In welcoming a speaker who navigates in both spaces, the Speaker Series creates a space to debate insights on why people management matters, how to improve the collaboration between sectors, and what the future looks like for this cooperation.
