Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
Maya C. Popa is the author of American Faith(Sarabande, 2019) a runner-up in the Kathryn A. Morton Prize selected by Ocean Vuong. Her pamphlet The Bees Have Been Cancelled was named a Poetry Book Society Choice in 2017, and You Always Wished the Animals Would Leavewas published in 2018 by the DIAGRAM chapbook series. She is the recipient of awards from the Poetry Foundation and the Oxford Poetry Society among others. She is the Poetry Reviews Editor of Publishers Weeklyand director ofthe Creative Writing Program at the Nightingale-Bamford School, where she teaches English literature. She a graduate of Oxford University’s MSt in Creative Writing and is currently a PhD candidate at Goldsmiths, University of London.
