OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Seminar 4 explores debates about the metaphysical and meta-ethical presuppositions of liberal political theory, with an emphasis on their congruence, or otherwise, with the Islamic tradition of political thought, and their (post)-colonial genealogies.
The Oxford Islam and Justice Programme aims to provide a grounding in the academic and ideological debates surrounding the relationship between Islamic views of justice and the modern liberal order. It comprises five 2-hour seminars, with associated readings, in Michaelmas 2024, taught by leading academics in the field.
