OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected to start before the end of Hilary Term to allow all future events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed on the Staff Gateway and via email to identified OxTalks users.

In conjunction with the Oxford Review of Economic Policy, the Blavatnik School of Government is hosting a webinar series on capitalism. Each week two eminent speakers will give their perspectives on ‘Capitalism: what has gone wrong, what needs to change, and how can it be fixed?’.
The series is hosted by Professors Paul Collier and Colin Mayer, Oxford University. It is part of a forthcoming issue of the Oxford Review of Economic Policy on capitalism.
On 23 April, the webinar will be delivered by Professor Célestin Monga, Harvard University, and Vera Songwe, UN Economic Commission for Africa.
Please note: The webinar will be held via Zoom – register via the event webpage to receive joining instructions. It will also be streamed live and archived on the Blavatnik School’s YouTube channel.
