Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. The Epidemic Diseases Research Group is part for the Centre for Tropical Medicine and Global Health and runs a series of programmes and studies on epidemic infectious diseases both in Europe and in low and middle income countries. Peter Horby will present an overview of the current work of the group, which includes research on acute respiratory infections, Lassa fever, Ebola, plague and non-polio enteroviruses.
