OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

St. Catz College Drama Society are debuting their inaugural Musical this March, with a rousing student rendition of RENT.
This lively rock musical is centred around the lives of a group of impoverished young artists, struggling to survive and create a life in Lower Manhattan’s East Village under the shadow of HIV/AIDS at the end of the millennium. Amidst the group’s struggles with hardships such as drug abuse, political unrest and poverty, the find comfort in the community they create. Taking you on a whirlwind of emotions, RENT leaves you wanting to seize no day but today.
Inspired by Puccini’s La Bohème, RENT features powerful and unforgettable songs including Seasons of Love, Take Me or Leave Me, and La Vie Bohème. This award-winning musical is guaranteed to sweep you off your feet!
Recommended for age 15+ – with references to suicide, drug use, death and sexual content.
