Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
You’re warmly invited to the Palliative Care Research Autumn Research Showcase 2025 — celebrating innovative research, fresh ideas, and
collaborative thinking in palliative and end-of-life care. Join colleagues from across Oxford for a vibrant gathering of researchers, clinicians, students, and partners, all working to improve care for those with serious illness. Expect rich discussion, diverse topics, and opportunities to network, reflect, and be inspired. The Research Showcase will conclude with brainstorming opportunities for collaborative research, and networking tea and coffee, where you will have the opportunity to meet our frontline colleagues from the Rapid Intervention for Palliative and End of Life Care (RIPEL) project. If you wish, you are welcome to stay on for our RIPEL Celebration Event – this will start at 3 pm and end with tea, coffee, and cakes at 4:00 pm.
