OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
The decision of the UK to leave the European Union is likely to have important ramifications for the Western Balkans (WB). Although direct economic linkages between the UK and the WB countries are limited, the indirect impact via the EU – the main trading and investment partner for the WB – could be substantial. A UK exit may also slow down the EU accession process and the reform drive in the region. This talk will explore some of these linkages and will outline the effect of different scenarios, with the aid of a recently developed EBRD global modelling framework.
