Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. The Green Templeton Lectures 2022 will be on science and the media.
The three-part lecture series will be convened by Senior Research Fellow Professor Rasmus Nielsen and Associate Fellow Meera Selva, who lead the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism.
This series of lectures will look at the interplay between journalism and science, draw out lessons that can be learned and look at how scientists and journalists can effectively communicate the challenges ahead.
