On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Welcome to the MEC Seminar Series – this term’s focus is on new books about the Middle East. Each book launch features a different, recently published book and is hosted by a different Oxford academic. Signed copies of the books will be available for sale after some of the events.
Our events are open to the public and this term we look forward to welcoming you in person to our fantastic venue, the Investcorp Lecture Theatre, St Antony’s College, 62 Woodstock Road. Our events are audio recorded and the edited audio recording will be available later during the academic year on our University of Oxford Middle East Centre podcast series (accessibility features will be available):
